More then a year ago I decided it was time to jump back into the Sonic community, starting with a brand new website I would call The Sonic Scene. After a quick launch, the website was up for a few months and I got a bit busy with other things, letting the site die off before it ever became much. A year passes and I decide I should try the Sonic online community one more time, having some discussions with Tristan Oliver about a possible return of TSSZ News. TSSZ has been around since 1998 in some form or another, dedicated to bringing video game and Sonic related news.

After some discussions on the return of TSSZ News, Tristan brought me aboard the news team as Managing Editor and Sonic News Editor. When it comes to reporting Sonic and Sonic Team news, I've been a part of the Sonic community in that aspect for around seven to eight years now. On April 2nd, 2008, TSSZ News launched and since then has regained it's popularity in the Sonic community. After a few months of reporting on TSSZ, I once again got the urge to create a new website dedicated to everything Sonic the Hedgehog.

Sonic Scene was originally the name of TSSZ's news division and currently the name of the Sonic news section of the website. I decided Sonic Scene would be the perfect name for a website dedicated to everything Sonic, a website I plan to build into one of the most comprehensive fansites in the community.

After losing all of the content (besides the design) from my original attempt at Sonic Scene in late 2006, I started to rebuild enough for a soft-launch. The new Sonic Scene launched very quietly on July 25th, 2008, with most of the site's sections far from done and open.

I hope you'll be patient with me currently as I slowly add content and information to the website. Sonic Scene is a website I am dedicated to bringing a lot of unique content to, and I hope you'll continue to drop in every week!
